Aim of Unit of Learning:

Through experiential learning, students will undertake a range of learning activities based on the language and structure of Leaving Certificate exam questions to explore the High Renaissance period

Compare and contrast a range of renaissance paintings and sculptures using critical and visual language relevant to the LC exam

Examine and explain the methods of a number of crafts people and the artefacts they created

Annotated drawings to observe, record and analyse the information given about certain pieces of art


Media

Explain and critique the materials and techniques used to create the structure/artworks/artefacts of the Renaissance period
