Time Flies

2 print lino and monoprint

Aim of Unit of Learning:

Through observational drawing and experimental printmaking students will explore line, shape and colour to design and create a two print lino based on their research of the theme Time Flies.

Identify and apply the critical and visual language associated with the discipline of design to evaluate their own work.

Interpret and respond to the theme, through multiple drawing techniques to develop a final two coloured print

Visual culture and appreciation

Name and discuss relevant artwork from a support studies artist who reflects the work they've created

AEDP

Use of line, shape and texture to create final print

Media

Understand which tools create what marks to create desired effect

using tools and ink which will allow them to print successfully
